Total Body Tune Up Part 2: Hips (Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Inner thighs, Glutes): Dive into the hips and all of the muscle groups of the upper leg that support them! The hips can be a common problem area whether you are highly active, sedentary, or anywhere in between. It is one of the largest weight bearing joints in the body. The hips are able to withstand and accommodate the forces of physical exercise like walking, running, jumping, yoga; and are also mobile enough to help facilitate intricate and complex movements.This workshop will focus on strengthening and stretching the hips and surrounding muscle groups, go over common ailments, and how to use yoga to help them.
