Total Body Tune Up: Head, Neck, Shoulders: Ease tension and find relief through the neck and shoulders. Learn the basic anatomy of the head, neck, shoulder, and supporting muscle groups. This class will consist of heart and shoulder openers; lots of work through the chest, neck, upper back, and shoulders. Because working through the neck and shoulders has a very profound effect on the parasympathetic nervous system, expect to leave feeling very relaxed.

Total Body Tune Up: Lower Back and Abdominals: Not just crunches. This workshop will explore the core in its entirety. Learn about the many possible causes for low back pain, maybe even find some relief. Strengthen and stretch your core from the inside out. Learn to integrate core work into your yoga practice. Learn to initiate movement from the very center of your core to strengthen your overall yoga practice, improve your posture, and move with ease.

Total Body Tune Up Part 2: Hips (Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Inner thighs, Glutes): Dive into the hips and all of the muscle groups of the upper leg that support them! The hips can be a common problem area whether you are highly active, sedentary, or anywhere in between. It is one of the largest weight bearing joints in the body. The hips are able to withstand and accommodate the forces of physical exercise like walking, running, jumping, yoga; and are also mobile enough to help facilitate intricate and complex movements.This workshop will focus on strengthening and stretching the hips and surrounding muscle groups, go over common ailments, and how to use yoga to help them.

Sleep in a little (but not too much!) and ease into your day with yoga.

Sunday Over Easy is a specialty class taught by guest teacher Noelle Curren. Noelle will lead a gentle hatha vinyasa class that will start low to the ground and follow a slow progression. Expect the perfect balance of strengthening and stretching with an extended savasana for deep relaxation.

his class will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized to get you through the rest of the weekend. Class will be taught to a carefully curated playlist to enhance the overall experience.

The foot, ankle, and lower leg are the basis of your foundation; they’re responsible for supporting your entire body (so take some time to be nice to them!) The foot alone consists of 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, and 19 muscles and tendons! We will focus on strengthening and stretching these areas, go over common ailments, and how to use yoga to help them.

Winter Recharge: Restorative Yoga Workshop with Noelle Curren and Jeannette Beaulieu

Take a break from the doldrums of winter and take care of you. This restorative workshop is a sensory experience for the whole body. Gentle, slow movement, soothing music, candlelight, aromatherapy, and even warm stones. 

Class will open with a mindful meditation followed by pranayama or breath work. The first half of class will consist of a slow paced flow to gently open up the body and prepare it for optimal relaxation. The second half of class will consist of restorative postures designed to fully relax the body and allow the mind to fall into a meditative state. 

Class will be taught by two instructors, one teaching and one providing hands on assists to enhance postures. You’ll leave feeling relaxed, recharged, and completely revitalized.

Attendees will leave with a gift bag of special self-care items.
